In a night displaying progressive skill and artistry the event's final match up crowns the promotion's first Champion. Either Philly’s own Cody Chapman or Church Street Boxing's Rich Vasquez will leave with the Lightweight belt. The winner will receive not only a new Championship belt, but AFL and their sponsor RSLNT will provide an entry into the USA Muaythai Grand Nationals. Winner of this tournament will punch their way to compete for the USA National team in Athens, Greece

“We saw these two gentlemen advance up the bracket last year, all eyes await to see the finale” says Sean Hinds and Joel Estevez, AFL Matchmakers. "

Meanwhile in reference to the sponsored entry into the Grand Nationals as the additional benefit of the main event.

Kit Yeung, AFL CEO doubled down on company mission and always consistent sentiments.

"It's our responsibility". Alongside the groups tag line, AFL is a staging ground providing opportunities to up and coming athletes, "this means in or outside NY, seeing our champions get a chance at other arenas, helps the sport grow, and we need to do our part".

The remainder of the card shines through in what will be the best stylistic matchups NY has to offer. For the co-main event, Oliver Genao vs Octavius Slaughter is expected to be a barn burner of a fight.

Oliver is coming off of a highlight reel spinning elbow KO win at his last Melrose Ballroom showing. While Octavius, also coming off a recent win, stands out as a veteran athlete himself, with an impressive 8 victories in his weigh class. Joel Esteves, describes him as "fire cracker, exciting, athletic, and real "brawler"

As in typical fashion C4 Energy will provide complimentary products, Ventus Therapy offering free stretch sessions and adjustments and merchandise from South Paw Stitches and AFL concessions will be available for purchase. It is set to be a great night of fights

“Our goal is to build a depth a talent in NY, and it just felt right to hold a title fight. We’ll keep an eye out for what’s next, tournaments at all weight classes and rules sets. If that is what the community wants, then we will have to oblige, come join us and let us know" - Sean Hinds
